This website is an informational site about from the Justice Center of the University of Alaska Anchorage, featuring statistics and the history of the death penalty in the United States. Capital punishment is a highly debated topic, and this site is able to provide unbiased information about the death penalties that have been issued and the court cases pertaining to the death penalty. This is a good source because it is maintained by an educational institution, and contains facts from the US Department of Justice. It will help me to gain background information upon which to base my argument for my research paper.
